Hotel
Photography
We photograph your rooms, breakfast, pool and views in the right light, exactly as guests will see them. Files are delivered separately prepared for your website, Booking.com, Google and Instagram.
Same room, two kinds of light.
Drag the line: on the left, ambient light only (windows blow out, interior goes dark); on the right, flash blended with ambient light. Switch the time of day below to see the same space at midday, golden hour and blue hour.

Rooms and interiors: most natural colours, detail outside the window.
Room types
For every room type: a wide shot, a reverse angle, the bathroom, bed details and the view from the window. That way each room type on your OTA listings gets its own photos.
Lobby and common areas
Reception, lobby seating, corridors, meeting rooms and the kids' area, shot in the order a guest experiences them from the moment they walk in.
Restaurant and breakfast
The breakfast buffet is shot once it is set, before service begins. Table settings, buffet details and the chef's signature plates are planned as separate frames.
Pool, spa and hammam
Shot while the water is still and the area is empty. Steamy, dim spaces like indoor pools and hammams need extra lighting and fog control.
Exterior: sunset and blue hour
The facade, entrance and garden are shot in daylight; a second round follows at blue hour, when the lights are on and there is still color in the sky.
Cappadocia-specific shots
Rock-carved rooms, vaulted ceilings, terraces and the morning balloon view. Lighting for dim cave rooms with narrow windows is planned separately.
Location and surroundings by drone
Aerial shots that show, in a single frame, where the hotel sits relative to the valley, the town center or key landmarks. Can be scheduled for the same day.
Vertical crops for social media
Selected frames are composed separately at 4:5 for the Instagram feed and 9:16 for Story and Reels covers. Vertical is planned during the shoot, not rescued later by cropping a horizontal photo.
What we shoot: an area-by-area shot list
Every area has a time of day when it looks its best. Tap the stops along the sun's arc; the shot list is ordered around the light through the day.

Light and technique: why do rooms look small and dark in photos?

Flash and ambient light
layered exposures
The same frame is shot several times, once in the room's own light and once with flash, then blended in retouching. This keeps the warmth of the lamps, stops the corners from going dark and prevents a yellow cast.

Before the shoot what the hotel needs to prepare
Half of a shoot day is preparation. The list below is tailored to your hotel after the site visit and can be shared with your housekeeping team.

Other shoots that can be planned with the same preparation: drone filming, 360° virtual tour and a hotel promotional film. Rooms are styled once, and the crew comes once.
Delivered files and where they are used
The same photo is prepared at different sizes and ratios for your website, OTAs and Instagram. If we are also building the website the photos will go on, we plan the layout together; see hotel website design.

Platform photo rules change from time to time; before delivery we do a final check against the current guidelines of the Booking.com extranet and Google Business Profile.
How the shoot day is planned
Site visit and shot list
We walk the hotel and note when the light is best in each area. Room types, common areas and details go into a single list that we approve together.
What determines the price?
Hotel photography is priced by shot list, not as a fixed package. After the site visit the items below are clarified, and the quote is prepared accordingly.
Let's talk about your project
Book a call ↗Number of room types and areas to shoot: the longer the shot list, the longer the shoot day
Time slots: whether a sunset, blue-hour or morning balloon session is added to the daytime shoot
Scenes with models: if people appear at breakfast, in the spa or by the pool, models, wardrobe and direction are needed
Number of final images and retouching level: the difference between standard color correction and detailed frame-by-frame retouching
Adding drone work and the flight permit status of the area, plus travel and accommodation for locations outside Kayseri and Cappadocia
Frequently Asked
Questions
Yes, most shoots take place while the hotel is operating. You just need to take the rooms to be photographed off sale a few days ahead, and we schedule common areas for times when guest traffic is low. For areas like breakfast and the pool, timing is agreed with the kitchen and maintenance teams.
The number is based on the shot list and stated in the quote. As a guide: one room type usually needs 4–8 frames, covering the wide shot, reverse angle, bathroom, details and view. Common areas, the restaurant, pool and exterior are added on top. Our aim is not a number but complete coverage of every area.
For small and mid-sized hotels, usually yes: interiors and outdoor areas during the day, the terrace at sunset, then the facade at blue hour. For large properties, or if a morning balloon session is requested, the shoot spans two days. If the sky is overcast, a backup day is set for exterior shots.
Retouching covers color and exposure balance, perspective correction, removing cables, sockets, stains and temporary flaws, and making the window view readable. We do not hide permanent flaws such as cracks in a wall, add a view that doesn't exist or make a room look bigger than it is; a gap between guest expectations and reality turns into negative reviews.
A strong exterior or view shot as the cover, followed by your best-selling room type, the bathroom, breakfast and the pool, generally works well. Assigning each room type its own photos is important. Our folder structure makes that matching easy, and we check each platform's current upload rules before delivery.
The channels (website, OTAs, social media, print, advertising) and the period of use are stated in writing in the quote and the contract. If third parties such as tour operators or travel agencies will use the photos, that needs to be discussed up front. For shots with models, a separate model release is obtained.
Yes, they can be planned around the same site visit and the same preparation: rooms are styled once and the crew comes once. For drone work, the area's flight permit status is checked in advance. A virtual tour and a promotional film require separate equipment and time, and appear as separate line items in the quote.
Yes. For shoots outside Cappadocia and Kayseri, travel and accommodation costs are added to the quote. If a site visit is needed, we do remote pre-planning from videos and photos sent by the hotel and build the shoot day around that.
