Video Production

With vertical video, viewers decide in the first few seconds whether to stay. We produce video series for Reels, TikTok and Shorts with hooks, captions and framing built for each platform, and capture most of them on planned shoot days.

The first 3 seconds and the safe zone

In vertical video viewers decide in the first seconds, and text must not hide under the app interface. Watch the sample reels on the phone: the counter at the top shows the hook window, and the safe-zone layer marks where text shouldn’t go.

↳ Swipe up/down on the phone or press the arrows · toggle the safe-zone and UI layers

Nobody tells you this:

HOOK · 3.0s

Hook0–3 s

First 3 s: stop the scroll with a question, result or motion

Message3–12 s

What we make

The parts of a video that stops the scroll

01

First-Second Hook

How the video opens: a question, the end result itself, an unexpected movement or a clear on-screen promise. We write and shoot several alternative openings for every video and pick the strongest in the edit.

02

Safe-Zone Editing

The app interface covers the bottom and right edge of the screen. Text, faces and products are kept out of those areas; editing is done on each platform's safe-zone templates.

03

Captions & On-Screen Text

Most videos in the feed start with the sound off. Speech is captioned and the key message also appears as on-screen text, with spelling and character checks in every language used.

04

Series Formats

Recurring formats such as 'a day with us', 'frequently asked questions', 'before / after' and 'from the kitchen'. A series gives viewers a reason to follow the account and makes production easier.

05

Batch Shoot Day

Several weeks of content are shot on a single day, working in blocks of different outfits, corners of the venue and scripts. It is more economical than booking a crew for every video.

06

Trending Sounds & Music

We follow the sounds and formats gaining traction on each platform. Because business accounts often have limited access to popular songs, we choose from music libraries cleared for commercial use.

Series ideas by industry

Series that viewers recognise and come back to, instead of one-off videos. Pick an industry: the profile, highlights and episodes fill in with that industry's example series.

— Shoot Day

How a batch shoot day
runs

01
Prep

Setup & lighting

Lights and cameras are prepared in several corners of the venue, so moving between setups during the day takes minutes.

02
Recording

Talking videos

Shot in outfit blocks during the hours when the speaker has the most energy. Notes sit next to the camera; nothing has to be memorized.

03
B-roll

Movement & cutaways

Details, hand shots, product and venue footage to cut between the talking segments are captured separately.

04
Opening

Hook alternatives

Each video's opening is re-shot with several different lines or movements; the strongest is chosen in the edit or tested in ads.

— Technical Specs

Ratios and safe zones by platform

Vertical videos are produced at a 9:16 ratio and 1080×1920 resolution. The difference lies in which parts of the screen each platform's interface covers. Pick a platform; the hatched areas show what sits under the interface (approximate, example).

Length
Keeping it short is recommended; uploads of up to a few minutes are possible

What to watch for

Appears cropped in the profile grid, so the center of the cover image matters.

Platform length limits and interfaces change often; we check the current rules before delivery. Areas covered in ad placements may differ from the organic feed.

The Plan Prepared Before Shoot Day

Shooting a large number of videos in one day depends on every video being written before the set goes up.

Let's talk about your project

Book a call ↗

A content plan for the period: which series, which campaign and which special day goes in which week

A short script for each video: opening line, key message, close and the action we want the viewer to take

An outfit and location list, so videos shot on the same day don't look like repeats of each other

Bullet-point talking notes for whoever appears on camera, so delivery sounds natural instead of memorized

A posting calendar and approval flow: videos come to you for approval in publishing order, not all at once

How we work

What we watch for
in vertical video

We build series from recurring formats viewers recognise and return to, not from one-off videos; every video is written before the shoot.

About us →
01
Shot for vertical
Rather than cropping horizontal footage, the frame is composed in 9:16 from the start; if a 4:5 feed version is needed, room for it is left during the shoot.
02
Not recorded on a phone mic
Talking videos are recorded with wireless lavalier mics. Even in short videos, unclear audio makes viewers scroll away.
03
Adjusted with data
If you give us access to your account insights, we look at where viewers drop off and change the openings of the next shoot accordingly.
04
Natural, in your brand's way
Instead of the same glossy ad look for every account, we choose a level of naturalness that fits your brand and run short rehearsals with your staff.
How we work

How a content cycle runs

01

Content Plan

We review your account and competitors' content, then agree on series, topics and posting frequency together.

02

Scripts & Hooks

Alternative openings, talking notes and on-screen text are prepared for each video and sent for your approval.

03

Batch Shoot Day

Planned videos are shot in order, grouped by location and outfit; openings are recorded in several different ways.

04

Editing, Captions & Covers

Videos are edited on safe-zone templates, captions and cover images are added, and files are exported per platform.

05

Post-Publish Review

Watch time, saves and shares are reviewed and the plan for the next period is updated accordingly.

FAQ

Frequently Asked
Questions

It depends on video length, how many times the location changes and how comfortable the people on camera are. If scripts are written in advance and set in the same venue, a large number of short videos can be shot in a single day. The exact number is stated in the quote once the content plan is ready.

The founder, the craftsperson, the chef or the employee who talks to customers is often the most convincing face. For teams who prefer not to be on camera, we can work with actors or content creators. We recommend getting written consent from employees whose image will be used, and agreeing in advance on what happens to the videos if they leave the company.

Business accounts have limited access to popular songs: TikTok business accounts are restricted to the commercial music library, and some songs are not available to business accounts on Instagram either. Videos with unlicensed music may be muted or cannot be used in ads. That is why we prefer sounds cleared for commercial use.

You can, but videos carrying another platform's watermark (such as the TikTok logo) may be recommended less on Instagram. We deliver separate, watermark-free files for each platform; if needed, the opening text and length are also edited per platform.

The service on this page covers video production. Posting, captions, comment management and reporting can be planned together with our Social Media Management service if you wish.

Yes. For ads we usually cut separate, shorter versions (6–15 seconds) with a clear call to action at the end. Because interface elements in ad placements can cover different areas than in the organic feed, safe zones are checked again for ad versions.

For most businesses that post regularly, one shoot day a month is a practical rhythm. For seasonal businesses (hotels, tourism, restaurants), it works better to shoot more intensively at the start of the season and plan short top-up shoots during it.

Likes alone are not enough. Average watch time, the share of viewers who stay through the first seconds, saves and shares, profile visits and website clicks are evaluated together. If the goal is sales, this data is matched with ad and website tracking.
